Apple Inc. is an IT company headquartered in Silicon Valley in Cupertino, California. The corporation was founded on 1 April 176 by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Mike Markkula and is most famous for products such as the Mackintosh computer, the iPod and the iPhone. The original Apple logo featured Sir Isaac Newton under an apple tree, but this was quickly exchanged for a stylised 'bitten' apple. Until 1998 it was in rainbow colours. Since then, it has been monochrome.
