Liam James Payne (29th August 1993) studied Music Technology before auditioning for The X Factor for the second time. The first time, in 2008, he reached the judges house stage and was then sent home. During One Direction's time on "The X Factor", Payne often sang lead vocals and solos during their performances. Payne was born with one functional kidney, does not drink alcohol, named his first turtle Harry and is a big fan of singer Leona Lewis.
