Westminster Abbey
Explanation
Westminster Abbey is located in Westminster in London. It was originally built in 1050 by King Edward the Confessor and has since been expanded several times. It is the traditional place of coronation and burial site for English, later British and later still (and currently) monarchs of the Commonwealth realms. One part of the church is known as Poet's Corner. The poet Geoffrey Chaucer was put to rest here. Later, other famous people like Charles Dickens, David Garrick, Isaac Newton and Laurence Olivier joined him.
