The Spaniard Alberto Contador won Tour de France for the second time in 2009. During the race he was challenged by the two brothers from Luxembourg, Fränk and Andy Schleck. He won, however, leaving Andy Schleck with the second place, more than four minutes behind. The American Lance Armstrong came third with his impressive comeback.
