In Sweden, Christmas dishes and meals are always served on a ´Julbord´ (´christmas table´, a kind of buffet with many different dishes), and often contain Christmas ham and the world-famous potato-ansjovy dish, ´Janssons frestelse´. For dessert the Swedes eat a rice pudding with a fruit sauce, where a whole almond is hidden. The person who gets the almond is predicted to be married during the following year.
