Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam made the soundtrack for the film 'Into the Wild' from 2007, but which famous actor directed the film?

Explanation

'Intro the Wild' is Sean Penn's fourth feature film. The film is based on the autobiographic novel of the same name which tells the story of the young protagonist who travels into the wild, away from all civilisation. The film became a huge hit, not least because of the amazing Alaskan scenery portrayed in the film. The soundtrack by Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam fame also helped give the film good reviews.
