Which was the first film Orson Welles directed?

Explanation

Orson Welles is a man of many talents. 'Citizen Kane', his first film, is considered a masterpiece and helped redefine the narrative of films. Before this, in the 1930s, Welles had gained attention with his radio play 'War of the Worlds', based on the novel of the same name by H.G. Wells. In 1949, Welles had success again, this time in front of the camera, in the film 'The Third Man', directed by the British director Carol Reed, although many believe Welles to be the brain behind.
