A nymphomaniac is a woman who has very strong sexual urges, often without any sexual inhibitions, and with a lack of actual feelings of love. Nymphomania only affects women. Many women use the term to describe themselves, but in actual terms, only very few people in the world suffer from it. If men have similar issues they are said to suffer from satyriasis.
