Justin's two best friends are called Chaz Sommers and Ryan Butler. How did they meet?

Explanation

Justin has two childhood friends called Chaz Sommers and Ryan Butler. They have been friends since they met at the hockey club aged eight. Justin says that he sometimes calls Ryan 'Butsy' - probably not Ryan's favourite nick-name but something you have to live with if your last name resembles 'butt'. When Justin hangs out with his old friends they still treat him as they did before he was famous.
